| TURN KEY OR PULL ROPE, ENGINE DOES NOTHING. 9 |
||||||||||||
| 1.If pull rope started, see troubleshooting, engine spins but will not start,however if you pull rope and it snatches back, or snatches rope from your hand, it is an indication that the engine is out of time[ the engine has backfired, or you have hit a brick or some object that has stopped engine suddenly]. IN that case you will need to seek shop help. 2.If battery or switch started,check first to see if engine is bound by what its operating, such as belts binding, pulleys stuck.If you can turn engine by hand, proceed to check battery by hooking a set of jumper cables to it from a good battery, you know is good,if it starts charge or replace battery, if not see next step. 3. check for fuse, it will be located near start solonoid, or near switch, see photo below red arrow indicates start solonoid. |
